Meg’s Loving Pet Care offers in-home pet care in Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, and parts of Manassas, Nokesville, and Haymarket, VA. We offer daily dog walking, as needed dog walking, cat care, critter care, and vacation visits. Below are frequently asked questions about our professional pet care.
Q: What does a typical visit include?
A: Our fee is based on the length of the visit. Clients have a variety of requests for what they would like the visit to include. We walk, play, offer treat or feed, refresh water, scoop litter box, etc. Your pets needs are determined at our initial consultation so we know exactly what your pet will need.
Q: Are you Licensed, Bonded and Insured?
A: Yes, Meg’s Loving Pet Care, LLC is licensed, bonded and insured. Our pet sitters are professional, reliable and have pet care experience. Background checks are mandatory for all of our sitters.
Q: Do I get to meet my sitter and/or will I have the same sitter?
A: Yes, a primary sitter is assigned to your pet. You will meet the sitter and have their contact information. When your primary sitter is not available or on vacation we have the back up sitter shadow a visit and also offer you the opportunity to meet the back up sitter.
Q: What happens if my pet gets sick while I am away?
A: We are trained in Pet CPR and Pet First Aid. All of our clients fill out a Veterinary Form. This will authorize us to take your pet to the vet for you. We ask if you will not be available by phone during travel that you inform your vet that Meg’s Loving Pet Care , LLC is your pet sitting service provider.
Q. Can you administer medications to my pet while I am at work or away?
A: Yes, we are trained in Pet CPR and First Aid. As licensed pet care providers, we will administer medications to your pet as per your instructions.
Q: What types of pets do you care for?
A: We are experienced in care for dogs, cats, birds, fish, turtles, Guinea pigs, chinchillas, rabbits, ferrets and other types of animals.
Q: What if my pet has a unique personality and some special needs?
A: We will customize a pet care program for your pet, taking into consideration their needs, health concerns, and temperament. We are all very patient, loving and look forward to making your pet comfortable while you are away.
Q: What areas do you service?
A: We service Bristow, Gainesville, Haymarket, and parts of Manassas & Nokesville, VA. We specialize in a small area so we can maintain excellent quality and are able to service last minute and emergency visits.
Q: What does your cat care include?
A: Cat visits include feeding, fresh water, litter scooping and as much love & attention as your cat would enjoy.
Q: How do I arrange payment?
A: We are very flexible and will discuss at time of consultation. You can pay by cash, check,venmo or Paypal.
